Man Arrested After Breaking Into Home Brandishing Axe

A 37-year-old man is being charged after breaking into a home brandishing an axe.

On July 13, around 5:25 a.m., Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a break and enter in progress at a Timberlea residence.

When police arrived they arrested Reginald Ollerhead without incident.

No one was injured during the incident.

Ollerhead has since been charged with break and enter, three counts of failure to comply with a condition, two counts of mischief equal to or under $5,000, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

He’s currently in police custody and is scheduled to appear in a Fort McMurray courtroom on August 12.
