You can now get walk-in counselling services at one location for addiction and mental health issues.

Alberta Health Services announced on Thursday people can access these services at the Wood Buffalo Addiction and Mental Health Services on Powder Drive in Timberlea.

These resources were previously offered at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre and the walk-in-clinic on Queen Street in downtown Fort McMurray.

This new location will also offer different programs such as the Gambling Recovery Intensive Program, Relapse Prevention Group, Friends and Family Support Group, Youth Information Series, Fort McMurray Diversion Program, and Assertive Outreach Services.

No appointments are needed with the clinic opened Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
