Husky Energy is seeing a decrease in net earnings year-over-year.
The oil company released their third quarter report on Thursday where they note they earned $273 million.
This is down from the $545 million in 2018, over the same period, and the $370 million they brought in during the second quarter of this year.
Despite the lower numbers, Husky says they hit each milestone they planned for the third quarter.
“We also saw our work to enhance process safety translate to improved reliability across the business,” added Rob Peabody, Husky CEO.
Husky was also able to produce around 356,000 barrels per day.
This includes production from their Sunrise Energy Project, located 60 km northeast of Fort McMurray.
