The third quarter of 2019 was quite kind to Canadian Natural Resources.
In their latest financial report released on Thursday, CNRL says they had a profit of over $1 billion from July to September.
This is, however, down from the $1.8 billion they earned in 2018 and the $2.8 billion they brought in last quarter.
As for production, they averaged 931,546 barrels per day. This is up from way up from the 801,742 they averaged in 2018.
This includes production from their Horizon Oilsands project, north of Fort McMurray, and the Athabasca Oil Sands Project.
Meanwhile, CNRL notes they’re continuing to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
From 2012 to 2018, they’ve lowered their GHG levels by 29 per cent which includes a 37 per cent decrease at Horizon.
