A record amount of funds was dished out at the 2019 Keyano College Student Awards.

The night of celebration took place on November 26 and saw more than 250 students receive around $450,000 worth of awards, bursaries, and scholarships.

This was more than $140,000 in 2018.

In a release, Keyano President and CEO Trent Keough says, through the awards, they hope they can put students in a position to succeed.

“At Keyano College, we measure our success by the success of our students. Through these awards, we hope that we can remove barriers to students’ education.”

Funds were raised through the Keyano Gala, college alumni, and through the support of 122 individual and corporate donors.
