The pool at MacDonald Island Park is being named one of the best in Canada.

To end 2019, Chatelaine Magazine picked the 12 best pools from across the country with the Syncrude Aquatic Centre making the list.

It first opened to the public back in 2010, being one of the more popular activities in the Suncor Community Leisure Centre.

It currently features an Olympic size pool, multiple diving boards, whirlpool, sauna, and more.

Edmonton, Calgary, and Grande Prairie also had pools make the list.

Pools in Summerside – Prince Edward Island, Steinbach – Manitoba, Halifax – Nova Scotia, Saskatoon – Saskatchewan, Barrhaven – Ontario, Montreal, Vancouver, and Toronto also made the list.
