One person is being treated for serious life-threatening injuries following a shooting in Abasand.
On February 14, around 7:50 p.m., Wood Buffalo RCMP received reports of a potential shooting at a home in the neighbourhood.
After arriving they found one person who appeared to have a gun-shot wound.
They were quickly transported to the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre before being airlifted to Edmonton.
A man was arrested at the residence while police also seized several firearms and ammunition.
He’s since been charged with aggravated assault, criminal negligence causing bodily harm, and careless use of a firearm.
