No one was injured during a fire at the Thickwood Pizza Hut.

The blaze started shortly after 11 a.m. on Sunday with all employees safely evacuating the building.

One worker was assessed and released on scene.

Regional Emergency Services quickly responded and were able to get the fire under control.

A neighbouring business also suffered some smoke and water damage.

The cause of the fire is unknown and is currently being investigated.
