Street sweeping will begin one week from today. 

Residents are being advised to keep an eye out for no-parking signs that will be placed 24 hours in advance of street sweeping. Vehicles may get ticketed or towed if they are not moved off of streets set to be swept. 

Primary, secondary, and tertiary routes will see on-street parking restrictions and will begin downtown, working their way through each neighbourhood in order:

• Downtown
• Waterways
• Abasand/Grayling Terrace
• Prairie Creek
• Beacon Hill
• Thickwood
• Wood Buffalo
• Dickensfield
• Timberlea

Residential street sweeping will follow the same order. 

RMWB says street sweeping in rural areas is expected to begin by mid-May.
