Ah, summer—you blink, and it’s practically over. Technically, we still have a good 3.5 weeks before fall officially kicks in, but in Alberta, it seems like we’re in a rush to boot it out the door. Case in point: there’s already snow in the forecast! Don’t panic just yet—it’s 908km away in Lake Louise, where the ski trails are getting a frosty preview of winter.
We all know snow is inevitable, but that doesn’t mean we’re ready to see it. Sure, sweatpants and hoodies are cozy, but I’m not quite ready to trade in my shorts and T-shirts. I’ve still got at least three rounds of golf, a couple of ice cream cones, and one really regrettable sunburn left before I surrender to the cold.
So, hang in there, summer lovers! Let’s make the most of these last few weeks before we start seeing our breath in the morning.
