Netflix Raises Subscription Prices for Canadian Viewers
Netflix is raising its subscription prices for Canadian viewers, marking its first increase since January 2022.
The ad-supported basic plan will increase by $2 per month to $7.99, while the standard plan without ads will rise by $2.50 per month to $18.99. The premium plan, offering additional features, will see the largest hike, increasing by $3 to $23.99.
The new rates are already in effect for new subscribers, while existing customers will see the changes reflected on their next billing cycle. Similar price adjustments have also been announced for Netflix subscribers in the United States.
This marks the latest effort by the streaming giant to navigate rising costs while continuing to invest in original content and global expansion.
