A Petro Canada gas station in Grassland, has been fined over $164,000 for breaching migrant labor rules, including poor recordkeeping, underpaying workers, and failing to provide a safe, abuse free workplace. The operator was also barred from the Temporary Foreign Worker Program for the next five years. The violations were discovered during an inspection that was prompted by concerns over worker treatment, including missing documents, wage discrepancies, and reports of abuse.
