Edmonton woman facing charges after drug bust in Fort McMurray

Wood Buffalo RCMP have arrested an Edmonton woman in connection to a drug bust made in Fort McMurray.

Police executed a search warrant on September 13 on Pacific Crescent in the Timberlea neighbourhood. Officers located and seized over eight ounces of cocaine, 65 cartons of unstamped cigarettes, and roughly 21 thousand dollars in cash. 

34-year-old Carol Cooper faces four charges, including two counts of trafficking and one count each of possession for the purpose of trafficking and selling tobacco products. 

Cooper will appear in court again on Tuesday.
