FORT MCMURRAY, Alberta — RCMP in Wood Buffalo are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 46-year-old man. Michael Stanley Hammond, a resident of the region, was last seen in Fort McMurray on July 27 and is believed to have last communicated with friends on Aug. 15.

Hammond is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown hair. Authorities are concerned for his well-being and suspect he may have traveled to the Edmonton area.

Anyone with information on Hammond’s whereabouts or who has been in contact with him is urged to contact the Wood Buffalo RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
