While we’ve been lucky to enjoy a fall that’s been a bit warmer than usual, reality is about to set in—big time. Environment Canada is warning that a large chunk of the province is about to get its first real taste of winter, with snow expected to start as early as this weekend!

Our current forecast shows the snow could arrive on Sunday, so if you haven’t already, now’s the time to start panicking about those winter tires. You’ve got until Saturday to frantically call around and see if any tire shops can squeeze you in. If not, well, it’s time to mentally prepare for the classic “do-it-yourself” tire swap, which inevitably leads to a sore back, a few choice words, and wondering why we don’t live somewhere warmer.
