Ward 4 By-Election in RMWB Set for Monday, Results Expected November 8

Fort McMurray, AB —Residents in Ward 4 of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) are preparing to elect a new municipal councillor in an upcoming by-election. Eligible voters from the Ward that includes Anzac, Conklin, Gregoire Lake Estates, and Janvier can cast their ballots on Monday, November 4, between 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voting stations will be located at the Anzac Recreation Centre, Conklin Multiplex, and the Janvier Municipal Office.

The RMWB advises voters to bring proper identification, with a full list of acceptable IDs available on the municipality’s website. Unofficial election results will be shared via a news release and posted on RMWB social media accounts after polls close and ballots are counted. The results will be confirmed, and the new Ward 4 Councillor officially declared, on Friday, November 8.
