RCMP Seeks Tips in ‘Suspicious’ Death of Conklin Man in April

RCMP Major Crimes Unit is seeking tips from the public in the suspicious death of a man now identified as 54-year-old William George Tremblay of Conklin.

On April 8, Wood Buffalo RCMP were called to the rural hamlet after reports came in about a trailer burning down on a remote pathway.

While sifting through what was left of the unit, police found what they believed to be human remains.

An autopsy was done a few days later which confirmed it was Tremblay.

Police are asking anyone who may have been in contact with Tremblay prior to April 8 or has any information to call RCMP at 780-488-4040 or Crime Stoppers.
