Vehicle thefts are on the rise across the RMWB.

Wood Buffalo RCMP note from May 15 to July 15 there have been 51 vehicles stolen and another 59 thefts from vehicles.

The police are reminding drivers to ensure their cars are locked while unattended and items such as cell phones, wallets, cash, and more are removed from sight.

Drivers should also avoid keeping spare keys in their vehicle or leave it running while unattended.
