People who received a parking ticket in November at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre can pay it using toys.
Alberta Health Services is expanding their Toys for Tickets Campaign to Fort McMurray and Grande Prairie.
The municipality also has their own campaign where people can pay off their tickets with toys and gift cards.
The toys must be worth $25 and can be for kids 17-years-old and younger.
The donations will be given to the Northern Lights Health Foundation who’ll deliver them to kids in the hospital.
“In keeping with the spirit of the holiday season, we felt this is a good way to give back and make some of our patients’ time in hospital a little brighter,” said David Ponich, Director of Capital Management, North Zone, in a release.
Toys will be accepted until December 13th at any AHS parking office.
