Maybe it’s time someone calls Guinness, because we’re breaking records this week! Just a day after Fort Chipewyan set a new record for their hottest day ever, with Fort McMurray only a degree or two behind, the entire province set a new record too.

Thanks to the province-wide heatwave, we’ve broken our electricity use record!

I get that most of it is because people are running their AC non-stop, but what else? I feel like my wife and I have just sat in front of an oscillating fan for the last 72 hours, watching TV, because neither of us has the energy to move or do anything else.
